What precautions do you take for salon anxiety or sensory sensitivity?
Nope! I use high-quality products and treatments that protect the health of your hair. Even with lightening, your hair can stay strong, shiny, and happy. We’ll always chat about what’s best before we get started.
Will the color damage my hair?
That depends on the look we create, but most of my color is designed to grow out soft and easy. If you're into low-maintenance, you'll probably go longer between appointments than you're used to.
How often will I need touch-ups?
Absolutely. I specialize in soft, lived-in color that blends with your natural hair and grows out beautifully. Nothing harsh or fake-looking, just hair that feels like you.
Will my color look natural?
If you want soft, natural-looking hair that grows out easy and doesn’t feel high-maintenance — you’re in the right place. If traditional salons feel too loud, too fast, or too much — this space was made with you in mind.

How do I know if this is the right space for me?
No worries! If you’re new, you’ll fill out a quick form first and I’ll tell you exactly what to book. It’s super simple and takes the guesswork out of everything.
What if I’m not sure what to book?
How do I maintain my color between appointments?
It’s super simple. Just fill out the new client form so I can get to know your hair and what you're looking for. I’ll email you within 24 hours with exactly what to book. From there, you’ll get a little vibe check form to set the mood for your appointment. That’s it! I’ll handle the rest.
How does it work if I’m a new client?
During your visit, I’ll give you product recs and easy tips to help your color stay fresh and pretty between sessions. Nothing complicated, just what works for your hair.

I have been going to Emersyn since before she opened August Studio. Boy am I glad she did because her skills have blossomed even more, which I didn’t think was possible because she was already so talented. She curates the experience to make you comfortable and dedicates her own time to continuous learning so that she can continue to excel in her work. Although I no longer live in Florida, I still travel back home to get my hair done because no one I’ve found matches Emersyn’s talent!
